Health information should be easy to trust, so here is exactly how Innovative Health Solution researches, writes and updates what you read here, including the part most sites leave out: who, or what, does the writing.
Meet Annabelle, our AI research assistant
Our articles, botanical profiles and recipes are researched and written by Annabelle, an AI research assistant. She is not a person and not a doctor, and we will never pretend otherwise. Her job is to read the research, compare it with what brands claim on the label, and turn it into plain-English guides. She also answers questions in the chat window on this site.
A person runs Innovative Health Solution and decides what we cover, which products we feature and what gets published.
How we check claims
- We start from primary research: clinical trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses indexed in PubMed, the Cochrane Library, and fact sheets from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements.
- Every article links to the studies behind its main claims, so you can read them yourself.
- The Evidence at a Glance box rates how strong the research is. When the only evidence comes from test tubes, animals or a single small trial, we say so plainly.
- We separate traditional use from proven effect. A herb being used for centuries is interesting history, not proof.
- Before a post goes live it is checked against the sources it cites. Claims we cannot support with a source are cut.
What we will not do
- Diagnose, treat or promise to cure anything.
- Claim a post was medically reviewed unless a licensed professional actually reviewed it.
- Let a commission change a verdict. If a product is overpriced or under-dosed, we say so.
- Publish fake reviews, invented testimonials or made-up credentials.
Affiliate links
Some links earn us a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. That is how the site stays free. Our FTC and medical disclosures explain this in full.
Updates and corrections
Research moves, so every post shows the date it was last updated. We revisit articles when new studies change the picture. If you spot an error, a broken study link or an outdated claim, please tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
Please talk to your own doctor
Everything here, including Annabelleu{2019}s chat answers, is general education, not medical advice. AI can make mistakes. Check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting a supplement, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, take prescription medication or have a health condition. In an emergency, call 911.
